VanVed vs EZOfficeInventory

Where VanVed is ahead

Why businesses choose VanVed over EZOfficeInventory

VanVed's advantage here is not depth, it is context: assets hang off the same employee records as HR and payroll, so who holds what is answered without an integration, and book value is already computed on every asset. For a business that wants asset custody tracked without buying and configuring a separate product, that is the whole appeal.

Where EZOfficeInventory is ahead of us today

EZOfficeInventory — now sold as EZO, split across AssetSonar, EZO CMMS and EZO EAM — is several products deeper than VanVed. It scans tags on iOS and Android, runs audits that reconcile a location, ships a full CMMS with work orders and preventive schedules, and on the IT side discovers hardware automatically and tracks software licences. VanVed has no asset scanning on mobile, no audits, no maintenance records and no IT discovery.

We publish this because a comparison that only flatters us is worth nothing to you. If one of these gaps is the thing you actually need, EZOfficeInventory may well be the better buy.
