VanVed vs Kylas
for CRM
Why businesses choose VanVed over Kylas
Kylas and VanVed agree on the important thing — Indian SMBs should not be billed per seat — so the comparison comes down to scope and add-ons. VanVed's quotations do real GST: CGST/SGST/IGST decided by place of supply, GSTIN validated, HSN per line. Kylas quotes carry generic tax percentages. And Kylas's flat fee is flat until you need it: analytics, email tracking, multi-currency, extra custom fields and field-sales tracking are each priced separately, with field tracking back to per-user billing. VanVed's one subscription also covers HR, payroll, inventory, projects and billing rather than just the sales desk.
Capability by capability
Every row below is what our 2026 research found — including the rows we lose.
| Capability | VanVed | Kylas |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing model | One organization subscription, unlimited users, priced by how many modules you enable | Also flat and unlimited-user — ₹12,999/month for Elevate, plus ₹25,000 one-time onboarding |
| Customizing pipelines and fields | Custom, reorderable pipeline stages per organization now (Pipeline/PipelineStage, a Pipelines settings tab); custom fields exist so far only on Deals, not Contacts or Companies | Custom lead and deal pipelines on every plan; 25 custom fields on Elevate, more at ₹200 each |
| WhatsApp from a record | Yes — bring your own Meta Cloud API credentials, no per-message markup from us | Yes on paid tiers, with Indian BSP partners; not available on the free plan |
| Quotations with Indian GST | CGST/SGST/IGST split by place of supply, GSTIN validation, HSN/SAC per line, revision history | Quotations on every plan, but tax is generic percentage fields — no documented CGST/SGST/IGST split |
| Email from the CRM | No — no mailbox sync and no send-from-record | Two-way Gmail, Outlook and SMTP sync on paid tiers; open tracking is a ₹800/month add-on |
| Workflow automation | Included: three triggers, three actions, with a run count and the last real error shown on each rule | 30 workflows on Elevate, more at ₹500 per 10; none on the free plan |
| Reporting and analytics | Pipeline summary, conversion rate and team performance, computed from real deal data | Dashboards on all plans, but BI & Analytics is a ₹5,000/month add-on on Elevate |
| Mobile app | Deals and tasks you can read and tick off; no record creation on the phone | Full app on every plan with automatic call logging; GPS field-sales tracking is ₹400 per user per month |
| Beyond sales | The same subscription also runs HR, payroll, inventory, projects, helpdesk, billing and more | A sales CRM — other functions come from integrations |
Where Kylas is ahead of us today
As a CRM specifically, Kylas is still more complete than we are. It has had custom fields across every record for years, and ours so far cover only Deals — Contacts and Companies remain fixed-schema. It syncs a rep's mailbox both ways so email lives on the record — we cannot send an email from a contact at all. Its mobile app logs calls automatically and works as the field rep's main tool, while ours is a read-mostly view of your deals and tasks. It has been sold to Indian SMBs for years and the onboarding and support machinery around it reflects that.
We publish this because a comparison that only flatters us is worth nothing to you. If one of these gaps is the thing you actually need, Kylas may well be the better buy.
