VanVed vs Jobber
for Field Service

Technicians, jobs and parts, tracked to sign-off.
Where VanVed is ahead

Why businesses choose VanVed over Jobber

VanVed treats a job as a warehouse and accounting event, not just a calendar entry: parts used on site come out of real inventory, the invoice includes them at sale price, and the GST split is correct for Indian buyers. It also refuses to double-book a technician rather than warning about it. Jobber has no inventory of its own.

Where Jobber is ahead of us today

Jobber's field app is a working tool and VanVed's is not. Jobber technicians work offline, photograph the site, collect a drawn signature and take card payment. VanVed's app — now built for iOS as well as Android — lists jobs, moves their status and keeps a cached copy to read through a dropout, but it queues nothing: every write needs a live connection, and photos and parts still require the web UI (signature capture is now web-based too, but not yet in the Flutter app). Jobber also has route optimisation and a Client Hub where the customer approves the quote, tracks the job and pays; VanVed now has a token-link customer portal for estimate approval and job tracking, but no payment inside it and no route optimisation.

We publish this because a comparison that only flatters us is worth nothing to you. If one of these gaps is the thing you actually need, Jobber may well be the better buy.
